Ida Theresa Myklebost is a Norwegian-American film director and journalist with NRK in Oslo, Norway. In 2017 she debuted her first film, the award-winning short documentary “Unwelcome” which has screened at over 30 film festivals around the world, as well as the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo. Ida has also served as a programmer for the Anchorage International Film Festival and the Portland Film Festival. Ida enjoys hiking and has a cat together with John that they have named Megatron Kitten-Cuddles. (ida@anchoragefilmfestival.org)

John Gamache
Co-Director/Filmmaker Relations
John Gamache is currently the Associate Director of the Woods Hole Film Festival – a 29-year-old film festival located in the seaside village of Woods Hole, Massachusetts. John is also an independent filmmaker and video producer, currently working on a short documentary series and producing content for several non-profit organizations in Cape Cod. John enjoys traveling and shares the cat Megatron Kitten-Cuddles with Ida. (john@anchoragefilmfestival.org)

Operations & Outreach Manager
Cheryl is an extraordinary organizer, and has been committed to community service work for 20 years in Alaska! She’s served as the Volunteer Coordinator with AIFF before becoming the Operations & Outreach Manager in 2020, and has been working as a crisis line volunteer for STAR for the last four years. She loves hiking, and exploring new trails with her dog, Miss Shug.
