Anchorage Wolverines
The Anchorage Wolverines gained membership in the North American Hockey League in March of 2021. They joined the Midwest division of the league, and became the third NAHL team in the state of Alaska, alongside the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and the Kenai River Brown Bears.
The Wolverines Organization is committed to supporting youth hockey in Anchorage, and helping strengthen competition in order to keep Alaskan players in Alaska. Players and coaches participate in youth hockey development throughout the season to cultivate strong relationships with the strong youth hockey programs in Anchorage.
Perhaps no family has had more influence on the development of Alaska’s social, economic and civic life than that of Bob Atwood and his wife, Evangeline Rasmuson Atwood.

The Atwood Foundation was established in 1962 to benefit and advance the community of Anchorage, Alaska, particularly its young people, by financially assisting the initiation, completion and maintenance of non-profit organization projects and programs in the fine arts, journalism, history and other civic enterprises.

Nadeem Mirza, a creative professional from Rancho Palos Verdes, California, now based in Hollywood, has built a multifaceted career in film and music. Beginning as a freelance filmmaker, he worked on feature films, commercials, and non-scripted television before transitioning to the music industry in 2017. His passion for storytelling and supporting the arts has remained a constant throughout his career. Outside of work, Nadeem enjoys traveling, exploring new technologies, and discovering new music, all of which inspire his creative pursuits.
The Ellsworth foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded by Kari and John Ellsworth, Jr. The Foundation focuses on supporting the Anchorage community by donating to programs we believe create opportunities for our city to expand, support local youth, and overall make Anchorage a better place to live.
